What is AVID?
AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination.
AVID is a program that is designed to help students seal the achievement gap by preparing them to set forth into high school and college. The AVID support team will ensure that the students are up to date on their studies by offering tutoring, note and test taking strategies, as well as leadership activities. This elective provides academic support for those students who are striving to rise above the rest.
