Lecanto High School

Achieving success. Every Panther. Every day. It's the Panther Way!

Elizabeth Moran

Elizabeth Moran is in her second year as an Assistant Principal at Lecanto High School, where she is committed to supporting student achievement, promoting a positive school culture, and helping students reach their full potential. This marks her 13th year in education and 11th in Citrus County Schools.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University. Elizabeth began her career as a mathematics teacher at Hudson High School and then Crystal River High School, where she developed a strong foundation in instruction and student support. During her time at Crystal River High School, she also served as a dean of students and a testing specialist, gaining valuable experience in school leadership, student discipline, and coordinating assessments.

As an educational leader, Elizabeth values collaboration, student engagement, and creating an environment where both students and teachers can succeed. Her dedication to education is especially meaningful at Lecanto High School, as she is a proud alumna of LHS. Returning to serve the school community where she once attended makes her current role particularly special.
